The true Chalutz (Pioneer) is a union of the emancipation of the individual and the emancipation of the nation. For the first time since the Jewish people were exiled, there is a resolution to the problem of the Jewish nation. The resolution comes in the form of a new being, a new Jewish person.

Hechalutz is an Education Center dedicated to teaching Cultural Judaism and Zionism to Diaspora Jews. We are a cooperative network of olim (immigrants) and sabras (native born Israelis) who, together, are building a more just society in Israel whilst reaching out to inspire, educate and train Diaspora Jewish youth towards Chalutziut (the pioneering spirit of the early Zionists). We are part of a new generation of Chalutzim (Pioneers) taking on the modern Zionist challenge: to pioneer the frontiers of Israeli society. We aim to connect Diaspora Jewry to Israel as the center and National Home of the Jewish People by educating participants on the timeless Zionist ideals of self-determination, sovereignty, collective and personal responsibility, and morality; the values Israel was founded on and continues to strive to embody. Hechalutz offers a wide variety of informal educational, Tours, Workshops, Seminars, Journeys, Jewish explorations and Outdoor Adventures to Diaspora groups, giving everyone the opportunity to discover the potential Chalutz within them.
